Vampyr gets surprise enhancement update for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 - collettedomess
Dontnod Amusement has just dropped a storm patch for RPG Vampyr, with enhancements for new-gen consoles.
As per the announcement happening Twitter, the update doesn't righteous tender a better visual feel for on the newest machines. In point of fact, the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X also get to benefit from the additions as well. With the new patch, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X can run the game at 1440p resolution at 60 FPS. In the meantime, the Xbox Series S and PlayStation 4 Pro can now run the game at the selfsame 1440p resolution at 30FPS. Finally, the Xbox One X now runs the game at 1296p at 30 FPS.
Our reviewer at the time of Vampyr's original release quite a enjoyed the venture. Alice Bell said in her review "Vampyr is good, and it does much exquisitely clever things, and as long as you're happy to lean into a kind of consumptive, Byronic flair for the melodramatic then you'll have a good time."
It's not currently acknowledged what else Dontnod is working on at the second. They released Twin Mirror to a sooner softened reception at the tail end of last year, and this year's Life is Singular: True Colors saw the series they started handed to Deck Nine. Could a sequel to Vampyr be one of the studio's six games reportedly in yield? We'll have to wait and picture.
